Information about the TikTok, Cosplay and Miss/Mister Hawkins contests (SFM7)

Contest registration will open in April and will be done via Google Doc. The Google Doc will be shared via email and Instagram story (our account is @peopleconvention). 

For the TikTok dance contest, you will have to perform a Tiktok dance on stage (solo or duo) to a music you can choose among : music of the credits from 0:00 to 0:30, California Dreamin by Mama’s and Papa’s from 0:08 to 0:42, Twist of Fate by Olivia Newton John from 0:56 to 1:26. A vote will take place in the audience to elect the favorite dance, an extra to win!

For the Cosplay contest, you have to go on stage (solo or in duo), in costume of the characters of the show (the home-made costumes are particularly appreciated). It can be a simple parade, a mime, a dance or a scene played on the microphone (30 sec max) etc… Participants will have to perform on a music to choose among Master of Puppets by Metallica from 0:00 to 0:30, Running up That Hill by Kate Bush from 0:43 to 1:05, Rock me Amadeus by Falco from 1:13 to 1:45. A vote will take place in the audience and a jury of professional Cosplayers will be gathered to award a prize (an extra) to the 3 best costumes.

The election of Miss or Mister Hawkins is a mix of the “Unbelievable Talent” and “Miss France” contests. The purpose is to elect the representative of the city of Hawkins. The participants will go through several tests: a 90’s fashion show, questions about the show and a talent demonstration. Points will be awarded by the public and the winner will be crowned Miss or Mister Hawkins and will win an extra.
